The times they are a changin'...

Sorry I haven't posted in an extremely looong time. I am right smack dab in the middle of changing careers...and I'm going back home, to teaching. I really belong there and I could tell the moment I walked back into my classroom. Although it was empty and a bit of a mess, it felt comfortable and inviting...full of possibilities and toys (Hey, it happens when you teach Physics)!!! It is going to be a struggle this first year but I can't wait to get started.

The unfortunate part...I will miss the friends I made at work! I know I'll talk to the ones I want to but, you know, sometimes it can be different. I truly don't want to lose contact with some of my "cube" mates, especially Rae-hizzy and JG (even though they are Bo-sox fans!! HOW ABOUT THAT WEEKEND SERIES!!!). I will miss the jokes and making fun of dumb customers, because as we came to realize baby Jesus hates dumb people!

As they say, "Life is not a dress-rehearsal, this is it!" So, I'm heading to wardrobe to change my costume for my next part.

until next time...

Open letter to Lisa Loeb...

Dear Lisa,

I happened to be surfing through the channels the other night and came across a repeat of your show #1 Single and I have a few comments. First off, I am married, so please let me go and stop trying to make me jealous. I don't understand if you really care because all I hear from the show is negative. Yes, watching you struggle at dating was rough for me at first and the show in general surprised me; actually I was thrown. You know that I absolutely adore your looks and tell you that you’re clever. You were naive but, you are incredibly sexy in that “girl-next-door” kind of way. It pains me to see you take my long lost crush on you to this level. Granted we haven’t seen each other since you performed up here in Portland almost 8 years ago, but I know we didn’t get to say to each other what we needed to be complete. I mean you were too busy with that whole “performance thing” and the lights up there are really bright. Plus, you had to leave right after the show to get to Buffalo and I understood even though I wanted you to stay, but Lisa I had to carry on.

So, I hope you find happiness and joy with every endeavor you choose. I hope this will make you understand that I say, you only hear what you want to.

All my best,

Chuck

My Daddy, the Superhero, and a number

I always knew I was a little bit off the norm...now I know why. I urge you to find out who's your real daddy is, what kind of superhero, and what number you are. Enjoy!!

Now I know where my great passion for music and tanning abilities come from...
Your Daddy Is George Clinton

What You Call Him: Pa

Why You Love Him: He takes you to church

AND by the way this could not be any more appropriate...especially for those who know me!!

You Are Batman

Billionaire playboy by day. Saving the world by night.
And you're not even a true superhero. Just someone with a lot of expensive toys!

finally, this is just plain COOL!!

You Are 7: The Enthusiast

You are outgoing and playful - always seeing the happy side to life.

You're enthusiastic and excitable. You love anything new.

Multi-talented, you do many things well... and find success easy.

You prefer to keep things light with others. Opening up is hard for you.
